WE CARE FOR OTHERS

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

We believe it is our responsibility to conduct business in a manner that is socially and environmentally responsible. Through environmental stewardship and providing positive social value, we create a positive impact on the planet and it’s people. Impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) starts with our team. The Greenology CSR Committee — comprised of team members across various departments—leads our internal initiatives to ensure that CSR is at the forefront of everything we do.

A group of diverse volunteers pose outdoors in a wooded area for a photo. They are participating in an invasive plant removal event, as indicated by the sign in front that reads "Invasive Plant Removal." The volunteers are wearing casual outdoor clothing, some with gloves and hats, and are smiling at the camera.

We are committed to being leaders in our community through service. We encourage our employees to volunteer through onsite service projects to promote positive development of global and local communities.

2025 AND BEYOND

OUR TIMELINE

ZERO WASTE FACILITIES

In 2023, we implemented a Waste Reduction Plan at our Raleigh facility to become a Zero Waste Facility by 2025.

  • We recognize the importance of taking care of our planet. With worldwide solid waste generation expected to increase by nearly 70% to 3.4 billion metric tons by 2050, it is more critical than ever to look for opportunities to reduce what we send to landfills.

That is why Greenology has committed to becoming a zero waste-to-landfill operation by the end of 2025. We partner with local companies to ensure we reduce, reuse, and recycle all incoming materials, resulting in zero solid waste delivered to our landfills. With recycling and waste-to-energy technologies, we are excited to reduce our impact on the environment for this generation and the next.

water conservation

Our WaterWise collection was developed to meaningfully reduce or eliminate the use of water in our products where added packaged water is not often necessary.

  • By reducing our use of this precious resource, we will minimize or eliminate the reliance on plastic packaging which has a pervasive and harmful impact on our oceans, wildlife, soils, food supplies and human health. Packaging footprint reductions also lead to lower delivery costs and carbon emissions, and valuable retail shelf space is utilized more effectively and profitably.

We are committed to reducing plastic pollution through the development of compaction products – detergents, cleaners, and personal care products that use 70% less water and 60% less plastic but maintain the same great performance and claims consumers desire.  This commitment will help minimize the global epidemic of plastic that is destroying oceans, beaches, marine-life and ultimately human health.  In addition, reducing water content and decreasing the physical footprint of our products helps minimize the carbon footprint per bottle, and saves freshwater resources for the humans, and for the planet.

LOCAL SOURCING

Greenology Products mandates that whenever possible local materials and components are sourced by our Supply Chain Team. This reduces our carbon footprint and supports our local communities.

  • To us, sustainability means more than just choosing renewable resources. To us, it means creating access to products that not only meet everyday needs, but the personal desire within each of us to achieve lasting health and happiness.

From manufacturing to your kitchen counter—sustainability has been at the heart of Greenology since the company’s conception and is integral to our operations. In 2017, we began utilizing innovative new bottles made with renewable sugar cane resin. In 2021, we mandated local sourcing for materials to reduce our contribution to greenhouse gas emissions. Year-over-year our footprint on the planet grows lighter and our mission all the more complete.
